PURRCEPTIBLY BSH STUD MALES

As a result of recent problems with the use of one of my stud males by one individual person, I thought that it would be important & beneficial  that I state clearly my terms & conditions in using one of my stud cats. These terms & condition's are standards that almost all established breeders follow in the UK. Obviously there is always some issue's that are open to discussion by some people as terms & conditions aren't always stated or made clear when using a stud cat by the breeder or owner of the stud cat.

All females intending to require stud services should have their female tested for feline Aids & feline Leukaemia by way of blood testing or using a snap test. Written conformation would be required by the Vet carrying out the Snap test confirming the female is negative. The blood/snap test would have had to of been carried out no longer than four weeks prior to bring her to me.

All females should be fully vaccinated & provide confirmation that she is up to date with all vaccination's.

Females should be registered on the active GCCF register and registered in the name of the owner wanting the Stud service's. I will not accept a queen without all paperwork corresponding to the female & owner.

All females remain with me for four to five days unless agreed prior to leaving the female with me. If the female's stay with me exceeds five days without prior agreement, a weekly boarding fee of £30.00 per week will be charged. I will not release the female until all boarding fees have been paid up to date.

If the first mating fails to be successful, the female can be returned for a second & third mating. However, the time between each mating cannot exceed eight weeks.

The mating certificate is also a legally bound document, by signing it you have to agree to all rules/stipulations within it. No kittens to be sold or kept on the active GCCF register without my consent. In breaching this rule legal action would be taken to have any kittens sold on the active GCCF register to be neutered/spayed. Any legal, medical or transportation costs involved by breaching this rule would be payable by the owner of the female.

PLEASE NOTE

IN PAYING A STUD FEE FOR THE SERVICES OF A PROVEN STUD CAT, YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE SERVICE, NOT THE END RESULT. IF THE FEMALE FAILS TO FALL PREGNANT AFTER THREE SUCCESSFUL & WITNESSED VISITS, I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE SEEKING VETERINARY ADVICE TO INVESTIGATE THE FEMALES FERTILITY. THE PROBLEM FALLS WITH THE FERTILITY OF THE FEMALE NOT OF A PROVEN STUD CAT.
