Mrs E Culf Show Report

GPC, WALKER’S PR PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE, BRI a, BLUE, 22.4.13

I really liked this very handsome, rugged boy. He epitomised the look of the breed perfectly, with his strong, rounded head, lovely full cheeks, firm and strong chin. Pleasing breadth to the skull, the ears are set well into the rounded contours and are small with rounded tips. In profile, he has a rounded forehead, short straight nose, nose and chin tips line up well with each other, his bite is level. His vivid orange eyes are large, round and well-opened, set wide apart. His head sits on the short, thick neck, and the body is cobby and of excellent proportions, equally large across the shoulders and rump, short strong legs, rounded paws and a medium long thick tail complete the picture. His coat is both short and quite dense, it does have a light crispness to the texture. The colour is medium blue, paling just a touch at the roots, and showing some light silver tipping particularly around the head. Despite his macho look and stance, he handled like a teddy bear!

Saturday 17th September 2016 - PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE attended the Bucks Oxon & Berks Cat Society Show. Benny gained his First Grand Premier Champion Certificate. Well done and congratulations for Benny, Charles and Dot.

Mrs Lesley Miles Show Report

Gr – Walker’s Pr PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE (BRI a) 22-4-2013

Well grown blue boy who shows himself well. Mature round head, balanced cheeks, round eyes of deep gold colour, short broad nose, level bite and a firm chin. He has a good heavy body with thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail in proportion with a rounded tip. His coat was short, dense, sound to roots and fairly crisp. My only criticism of him is that he is a very dark blue colour.

Saturday 2nd July 2016 - PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE attended the Wessex Cat Society Show at Swindon. Benny got his third PC making him a Premier Champion, he also won BOB. Cracking day out for Benny and I hope Charles and Dot are very pleased and proud.

Mr Stephen McConnells Show Report

1st PC BOB Ex 117 Mr & Mrs Walker PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE (BRI a (16)) MN 22.4.13

A lovely boy of 3 years and 2 months. A large round head well developed. Nicely rounded brow. Short thick neck. Ears are nicely place with good width between them. Ears are slightly large in size but have nicely rounded tips. Well rounded and opened eyes well set apart, in a pale gold colour. Nicely developed full cheeks. Good short nose to reasonably firm chin with a bite that is just a tad messy. Well grown body of good weight and size. Body is nicely cobby and stands well on good shortish thick muscular legs with rounded paws. Coat is short and dense and some crispness to feel and is of a darker blue colour and fairly sound to roots. Tail is medium thick of good length to balance with rounded tip. He is a charming boy with good personality and outgoing temperament. A joy to handle.

Saturday 16th August 2014 - PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE attended the Three Counties Cat Club Show at Eastleigh where he got his second PC from Judge Mrs A Gregory. Mrs A Gregory Show Report

1 PC WALKER’S PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE, 16, MN, 22.4.2013

Young male who has potential; he had a broad head with rounded contours and though his ears were a little prominent on the day, they were placed well apart. His eyes were large, round and well-opened. The colour was a pleasing orange. He had full cheeks and a rounded muzzle. The nose was short and broad and he had a reasonable chin. He was cobby and strong with excellent muscle tone and strong boning. The coat was short, dense and had a good crisp texture, particularly for the season. He was shown in excellent condition and had a good temperament too.

Saturday 26th July 2014 - PURRCEPTIBLY BENNY THE BLUE attended the Kensington Cat Club show in Bracknell. Benny more than surpassed himself and finished off with 4x 1sts (including a Premier Certificate),2  x2nds One of the judge's  comments was; "Lovely Boy" and one class judged by Mrs.Higgin's awarded him a 1st and we were told she is really choosy.. So hopefully he will continue to do well at the Three Counties, at Eastleigh Leisure Centre in  3 weeks.
